Sony Trinitron 14" PVM: SSM-14N1E

This is a well used (and battle-scarred!) Sony Trinitron 14" PVM.
Model number: SSM-14N1E

At the rear this has S-VHS in and composite video & audio in (normally a BNC, but I will supply an adaptor).
It also has video out (again the same Y/C, BNC, phono audio arrangement).
Despite not being RGB, the trinitron image is very nice and the small front mounted speaker is actually very loud!
(but sadly, only mono audio).

Unfortunately the front buttons on this one have gone a bit sticky over time (may need the momentary buttons on
the front of the chassis / pcb lining up or being angled better with plastic buttons on the front panel).

Also, although you'll see it has plenty of colour settings that support NTSC, I've not managed to run any non-colourburst
modded consoles in full colour using composite NTSC with it - you get that old black and white image.

Generally this has been a real workhorse of a PVM and has scratches and marks especially around the front, however
the tube is really nice with no burn at all.

Not sure on value, so looking for valuations.

Y/C IN is S-VHS. Video & Audio IN are composite.

I'll supply this BNC to Composite adaptor for the video in.

Decent onscreen menus:

And plenty of video format options:

This is what you get with a standard non-modified NTSC composite signal
(colourburst-modded NTSC consoles are fine though)
